About

Congratulations for taking this initial step

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic privilege in New York State. I’ve been practicing since 2013, after earning my MSEd in Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. My clinical training includes CBT, ACT, and EMDR, with additional experience in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, Schema Therapy, and aspects of DBT. These frameworks offer structure, but no technique replaces the need for presence, honesty, and the guts to face what hurts. Therapy with me is a space where you’ll be listened to deeply—and, at times, challenged. I’m not afraid to ask the uncomfortable question—especially if it’s the one that opens the door you’ve been avoiding. Clients come in carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, spiritual fatigue, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or others. Beneath all of it is often the quiet ache to recover what’s been lost: clarity, peace, courage, meaning. In many ways, therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about remembering who you are, what you are, and what you're still capable of becoming. When we can clear away the static, most people find they’re far more resilient—and far more whole—than they’ve been led to believe. While I don’t impose faith in session, my work is shaped by a view of the person that sees depth, dignity, and the possibility of redemption. I believe suffering isn’t always senseless, that silence has something to teach us, and that humor—especially the well-timed kind—can deliver more truth than a five-step treatment plan. That said, I still use treatment plans. If you're feeling stuck but still hear a small voice saying there's more—more clarity, more freedom, more to become—I’d be honored to walk with you.
